Blower needs replacing

I just moved into this home. In the past two weeks the HVAC system has suffered a need to replace the blower for the heat function. How can I get a replacement for the blower when all the numbers have disappeared?

You sound like you are sure the blower motor is the failed part. If you do not have the model number and serial number of the equipment or the motor information, it will be tough to replace the blower. If the numbers are gone, this might mean that this system is very old and inefficient. The rated horsepower and RPMs of a new blower would need to match or be very close. I suggest you consider installing a complete, new, high efficiency HVAC system. Contact a professional HVAC contractor to assist you in making the best decision on repair or replacement. Don’t forget to ask about rebates and tax credits.
