I'm experiencing what seems to be an excessive drip from the outside condensation line. I would say it’s more than a steady trickle and less than a steady stream. What do you suggest? The neighbors had an air conditioning repairman who noticed it, and he said the drain pan might be full. This doesn't sound right to me. What do you think?
The overflow for the condensation line for your air conditioner is often located in the eaves. If you notice that it is dripping water then the primary drain line from the air conditioner coil in the attic is clogged. The water is dripping into an auxiliary catch pan and then drained out through the emergency overflow. I suggest that, at your earliest opportunity, you contact a professional HVAC technician, like the ARS/Rescue Rooter Houston South branch in Houston, TX at (713/281/832) 777-7777, to restore proper drainage before this secondary drain clogs and sends water through the ceiling, walls and structure.
