Inspector requested improvement in cooling differential

We had an inspector out to our home because we are selling it. They are requesting that it be serviced so that the AC has no less than a 15 degree differential. I would like to know the process for doing that

A HVAC service technician would need to perform a diagnosis to find out what is causing the lack of system performance. A properly functioning system has on average between 16 and 22 degrees difference from air inlet to air discharge and across the cooling coils in the cooling mode. There are a number of problems that can cause low performance, ranging from dirty heat transfer surfaces to low refrigerant to duct issues or more serious problems with the compressor or other components.
