Which is the most cost effective repair of a sewer line? My main line has damage in one spot. I am wondering if it would be more cost effective to dig and replace or trenchless repair.
There are many factors that come into play when addressing your sewer line problem. These are questions you need to resolve: How deep is the sewer line, how bad is the entire line, and how long is the sewer line? What kind of shape is the rest of the line in? You need answers to all of these questions before you can know for sure what your best option is. Generally speaking, if the line is old and deep (4’ or deeper), you are almost always better off doing atrenchless technology repair. Shallow repairs, however, with a fairly good line can get you by for a while & for far less than deeper repairs or a trenchless. I suggest you contact a professional plumbing contractor, such as the Rescue Rooter Atlanta branch in Marietta, GA at (770) 427-6446, for a complete assessment of the damage to your main sewer line. To help make an accurate diagnosis without digging up your yard, Rescue Rooter Atlanta can provide a video sewer inspection to see if sewer line repairs are necessary.
