My garbage disposal isn't working.

My garbage disposal has quit. It is a 1 hpd#GFC1020F--It was working and then it just quit. You can turn it but I can't find a reset button. Can you help?

If your garbage disposer spins freely, but doesn't turn on then your problem is electrical in nature. I would suggest you check the power source first. You can unplug the disposer cord and plug in something else that you are certain works. If the electrical outlet does not work I recommend you check your breakers/fuses or call an electrician. However if the outlet does work, your problem is either in the disposer or the cord. The red reset button should be on the bottom of the appliance, right in the center. Push the button and try again. If nothing happens, the motor is burned out and you will need a new garbage disposer. Good luck!
