My toilet, sink, and tub are all slow to drain. When you flush, soap bubbles come up into the sink. When water drains from the sink or the tub, the toilet gargles. Already tried plunging, using an auger, rid-ex. What could be the problem?
Your main line for these three fixtures, sink, tub and toilet, has a blockage. When more than one fixture is backed up, 99% of the time it is not in the lateral line (the individual line for that fixture). In some rare cases, if two or more lines are backed up they could each have an individual blockage. Once you clear the main line, your problems with all your fixtures will be solved. The most common and effective way to clear a main line and keep the blockage from coming back is by pulling the toilet and putting a cable machine (snake) down the line to clear the blockage. Some houses have a cleanout access that allows the cable to enter the main line without having to pull a toilet. I recommend you contact a professional plumbing contractor to troubleshoot your particular situation and offer you repair options.
