Charges can vary depending on what region of the country you are in and if any other services need to be performed. First I would check to see if your hot water heater is under manufacturer’s warranty. If so, the parts for the repair should be available through your manufacturer. Then only the labor charges would apply. If you haven’t already, while you have the plumber out to replace your water heater thermocouple, you might want to get a complete inspection and sediment flush of your water heater. Most manufacturers recommend routine maintenance on to keep your hot water heater working at peak performance.
