I need to find out the size of my air filter. How can I do that? The model number is FY4ANF030T00.
When you replace the air filter on your air conditioning unit, the measurements you need to know are length, width and thickness. The dimensions of your filter frame are essential for replacement of a pleated filter or an electrostatic filter. These dimensions are usually not exact. A standard 20x20x1 filter will actually measure a little less on each side, allowing for slight differences in filter rack sizes. There are several types of common filter options available. Sometimes custom filters are required which generally are not available in stores but can be ordered online. The best one for you depends on your unit, your goals for energy efficiency, and your family’s particular sensitivities to airborne particles. Cheaper filters are not always a true bargain. Research the various types of filters that will work for your unit. Also, keep in mind that keeping your ductwork clean and your system properly maintained are important to improvement of the air quality in your home.
